I got over it, my first in the 1st Wk Triathlon Bundesliga.
The first league race was held in sunny weather in Gladbeck. It started like every year with a single-WK, which each had to take a representative of the team in one of the 5 waves start to learn about 250m swim -5.6 km bike and 2.5 km run against the other to put through. I started in the last wave along with the U23 2007 World Champion, Greg Buchholz, Jonathan Zipf, Henry Beck and other famous names from the triathlon circus. Sorry I missed the first Group on the bike and I'm with 2 other athletes in 150m distance chased behind her, followed by another 5 Azjleten other teams. But the Advantage lies not shrink. The following 2.5 km run was then, say ok.
As well as my teammates, Jörg, Martin, Michal, and Frank, had taken no better. We occupied for the afternoon taking off team competition over the sprint distance for 13th Place in the starting order. The plan was that Jörg goes on the bike and spares no guidance for the run. But as Michal traveled in the 1 round on the wheel had a fall, and Jörg had the leadership to not let the gap get too big or not collected by the tracker team to be.
We made it and stayed on a 13th Place in the team standings. I'm with my
perösnlich Performance partly / partly satisfied, as I had wished for himself a slightly better position AOEL 58th. The fact, however, were some of the best athletes in the world at the start, comforts a bit ;-)
is in 3 weeks, then continue with the League for another team competition in Witten.
