long time I would like to present again a few lines of writing and delivered by Christmas greetings a sign of life from me.
have in the last 2 months of my rather slow start in the morning Post-Marathon in Dresden, I continued to train well and was able to already achieve a significant improvement in form. As the joint training with my team mates and very good friend Martin Flehmig previously was allowed to proceed without major disruptions health, I took on Sunday the 28th 30th December at Radebeul Silvesterlauf part. The Was run over a distance of 8.9 km and
had a virtually flat course profile. Because it was one of the sunniest days of December this year, you could also complain about the weather. Shortly after the start, could separate a small group of about 6 runners from the field, been there, Carsten Neise, Alexander Schilling, Jens Borrmann, me and two other runners. Although I have kept this time when you start back, I was still not possible to prevent an "escape attempt" by Alex and Jens. On the following 2 of 3 rounds, the two expand their lead to about 2 minutes and at the end still show a real sprint final. Alex in this subject with only the second sprint stronger Jens. I for one was the 3rd Place with 30 sec. Carsten keep ahead of the finish and bring. Thus the TV set in the Dresden AK 20-29 complete the podium. But as I said, this was for me a first test form. The next is on Wednesday, 31.12. follow Oberlichtenau. But on this run it will probably be difficult to reach the podium, as several very good runners have been reported in the area of Dresden before, this will be one of the best-staffed runs of the past year. for me to end a very exciting year with some ups and downs. I would like to again thank all those who have supported me. It may be mentioned are no large companies, but rather names of people like my girlfriend Claudia, my family and friends who were in difficult times since, and have supported me. For next year I will continue my service in the 1st Bundesliga and in some other competitions, shows and try with another measure. Another basis for this is placed in a 2-week training camp in Faro (Portugal) in March. But already have all the necessary reservations and the anticipation is increasing day by day.
That should have been at first, but now I set an intention for the year 2009. It is published here for the more regular of posts to keep you informed. How about just keeping the looks of this intent, you will see when you look further in the next year on my blog.
